FB Brake slave cylinder replacement

Post by Maxmack »

I'm looking to replace the cylinders in the front and rear brakes of my FB as they are all old and leaking/not working. Is there any known cheap replacement cylinder that would fit?

They are about $90 on rare spares each but you can buy EK and EH cylinders for a lot cheaper. Would the EK or EH cylinders fit in the FB brakes? Has anyone attempted to use a different cylinder?

Thanks

EK should be same as FB. EH won't fit as the cylinders were changed at EJ along with axle flange, backing plate, shoes, everything but the master cylinder.

Check out Power Brakes who can supply wheel cylinders or recond your wheel cylinders in stainless steel. Always had good service from these guys and wouldn't waste my time doing anything but stainless steel on brakes & clutch. They can post anywhere.
