EK Braided Flexible Transmission hose

Post by paperboy »

Hi,
Anyone know where I can get a replacement braided flexible transmission hose that goes from the radiator to the metal cooling lines? I've tried everywhere in Canberra (Enzed, pirtek, brake shops etc and no-one has the parts to make one up. I can get 2 on ebay for $200 but the seller is away till the 10th January, I only need one and don't want to have to wait that long.
thanks
Geoff

Hi SunnyTim,
Unfortunately I'm in Canberra, no one seems to have the connectors down here.

Hi All,
I ended up just purchasing a braided flexible transmission hose on ebay from Early holden parts, very good product and worked. No one in Canberra was willing to make me up a new flexible hose. So I fitted my new metal cooling line and flexible hose with a new brass connector and finally its not leaking. But now I've noticed its dumping alot of transmission fluid overnight after taking it for a drive, looks like its coming from the rear, anyone have any ideas where it could be coming from? Is it worth getting a hydramatic repaired or is it better to swap it with a trimatic?
thanks
Geoff
