Hi,I'm putting HR diff in EK ute with 6 leaf springs(with HR spring saddles) do I need the HR ute,panel van pads?,are they thinner than the sedan ones to allow for the extra spring?,thanks Steven.

They use a flatbar spacer to make up the difference in thickness.

Just a plate about 20mmx 120mm with two holes for the bolts/ubolts to pass through. Measure to be sure

Then everything can pull up tight.

I cant remember how thick they are, 8 or 10 mm from memory.

Otherwise the shock baseplates turn inside out

Hi,thanks for the fast reply,wot179,I have the flatbar spacers,so I use them with the HR ute,panel van Thinner pads? buying new spring pads from Rares,

Best advice I can give you is to bolt it up all and if it looks like it needs thicker spacers,or thinner, or none at all make some up or just leave them out.

I don't think I used them in the ute I was doing a little while ago.


I just looked at the thread...I used an EH diff, not a HR one...different mounting plates... :oops:
