Radiator overflow tube loose/leaking

Post by paperboy »

Hi,
My radiator overflow metal tube the one the rubber hose connects to has come loose and it's leaking coolant. How do I re-connect it to the radiator so it seals properly without leaking coolant everywhere? I tried Jb-weld on the outside but it still leaked, my radiator cap is only new 7lbs with overflow bottle installed.
Thank you
Geoff

If brazing is not one of your strong points then whip down to your local radiator place or pull it out and take the radiator down and let them fix it. $20 bucks last time I did this admittedly a while ago now.

Either distilled water with a dash of mineral oil or Toyota red
