Anyone know where I can get a longer choke cable to suit twin Strombergs?
need one fast.

Should only have to choke one carbie?

Some will start with only one carb choked (especially in warm weather), others need both choked. Depends on engine vacuum and jet sizing. Try it with one choke and only do the second one if you need it. If you don't need it, wire the second one wide-open.

Bugger to get a choke cable as the knobs are part of the fixture.

If you need two chokes, try using a single choke cable to the nearest carb. Connect the two carbs with a piece of thin fencing wire from Bunnings (ie the nearest carb has both the choke cable and the fencing wire in the same hole).
