Condensation in breather pipe and Oil cap

Post by srussell »

Hi all,

I have a query, upon doing an oil change today I have noticed some brown milky stuff in the breather pipe and also around the rim of the oil cap. The old oil colour looks fine and the car has not lost any water either.

Motor info: Original 120 000 miles grey motor

-Could it be condensation built up from short trips?

-Any suggestions or comments?

Thanks Shane

probably got a bit of water in the oil driving between Luxembourg and Geelong
When you're faced with an unpleasant task that you really don't want to do, sometimes you just have to dig deep down inside and somehow find the patience to wait for someone else to do it for you.
