Rocker cover makeover/ Or B/S your neighbour

Post by choppedfan »

I've been looking for a twin breather alloy rocker cover for my grey (Still Looking :( )

Anyway the other night in the shed I thought I've got plenty of old stock covers sooooooooooo.....................

I originally thought I'll make a twin NASCO breather (ultra rare     ) but now I think I might leave the centre one there :? not sure yet. The centre one sits a little higher but when I put it on my dummy engine it looked ok, I'm thinking painted grey with black breathers maybe a pinstripe or two and see how it looks on the ute's engine with the triple carbs.

Oh yeah the bit about telling B/S to the neighbour, he came over and spotted the triple cover on the dummy engine and asked about it. I told him it was off an old grey powered altered that used to race at Riverside

P.S. It does clear the rockers.

Funny that you did that as I have been contemplating in last few weeks doing the same but using three grey breathers on a red motor.
I can't think what to write here so this will do.

Similar theme grey breather on a red motor, saw this at Craig's workshop in Perth on a customers car.

Check the cool way he hid the two barrell Holley, tucked away under the old oil bath air cleaner, really neat
He was going to finish the air cleaner in black and put some reproduction factory decals back on the top.

You know the best part...............It's different :D

Look forward to seeing your triple grey breathers on a red cover
