Ok then, I have a question. :?

I've seen plenty of farm use and outback grey motors with the oil filler/breather turned around to supposedly limit dust and crap going in, why do guys with hot greys do it as well???? there is a few other pics I've seen with them turned around on old circuit race cars as well.

Anyone help??

the hose would run back to a catch can 2 stop the oil blowing over the rocker cover and stopping it running onto the hot pipes
causing it to burn or catch fire leaking onto the race track even

turning it around prob just makes it look 8) not sure why they would do it ,i wouldnt think it would do anything

cheers dave

on the drag rocker covers, in the link to the one that was for sale on the FE/FC forum alex (custom FC) put up a pic in that pic it's sitting on a peg board with other rocker covers, this could be just someone's collection BUT american auto parts old parramatta road store used to have a board just like that with it's for sale rocker covers on display
alex if he reads this may shed some light on where the pic was taken, if it was american autos they may be able to tell you where they came from
sometimes yor just better off shitting in yor hands and clapping

A few posts back I was chasing info on the Drag V Rocker Covers as I have on my FJ. I have been searching for years for info on them and finally in an old Australian Hot Rodding magazine I came across the following advertisement.

Mystery solved.
