I could be way, way out of line, but weren't the Drag V rocker covers originally made for Chev inline 6's? I got a sneaky feeling I've seen a few photos of them over on the HAMB... but that could be too much time surfing forums on my part (all car forums... I promise  ).

Harv are you sure mate :? :? Just trying to find out where these Drag covers come from, I was told they were aussie made? Its amazing that even after all these years I'm still finding more interesting grey related accessories.

Here's where the internet to an old guy like me is priceless

Keep em coming guys

Would love to know more from anyone who knows about these DRAG V rocker covers.

I have one on my FJ, and can't find anything about it anywhere.

And like Thommo I've never seen an Autocraft manifold either, but Thommo are the Drag covers Aussie made??

Dammit.... somewhere in my internet trawling I've run accross photos of the DragV covers. I thought it was the HAMB (from Seppo inline 6's), but a heap of searching there and I can't find them, nor any in my stash of grey carby pics.

The only link I can find again is someone on the FE/FC forum flogging one:

Here is another rare one.
Its the racing marine manifold for a grey I was chasing a while back.
Made by 'N Walker & Son'

See on this pic how the carby flanges are machined to the reverse angle compared to the car manifold.
Its because the engine is fitted backwards and on a greater angle, driving the prop shaft from the harmonic end.

Have a mate in NZ telling me there's a fair bit of grey speed bits over there, thought they might have originated there. I "googled" it and got bugger all info :(

Guess I'll just keep my eyes open  might be lucky enough to stumble across one, or a twin breather rocker cover would be cool too

See what happens when you are a "Greyaholic" theres just no end to the addiction.
