How much to lower a ute?
Re: How much to lower a ute?
Comfort got the better of me..... Some suspension is better than none and believe me I had none! Fully loaded it was worse. Now its good. I'm happy its settled a bit and looks right again.

fair call-i know what you mean. mine is probably still an inch higher than yours (hard to tell with the photo) and it gets a bit hairy on big potholes. i just feel bad for the car when you hear and feel that big bang. bumpstops could do with a shave

how do you change rear shockers on a ek ute
Re: How much to lower a ute?
Step 1 - Remove old onesute 62 wrote:how do you change rear shockers on a ek ute
Step 2 - Fit new ones
Welcome to the forum mate - does your ute have the standard floor in the back ? If so , there will be a couple of metal plates halfway along the tray - the top shock bolts are under these covers. If the floor has been replaced and there's no covers any more you will need to remove the floor to expose the top bolts.
When you're faced with an unpleasant task that you really don't want to do, sometimes you just have to dig deep down inside and somehow find the patience to wait for someone else to do it for you.
