of all the FB/EKs i've owned and put togeather something i've allways avoided was fitting a subframe i think it came from younger days when i was allways told it's a pr!ck of a job
well the time has come i had a sedan body here that was to good to cut up and nobody seems to want to buy a body that doesn't roll so i bought a rusty ute that has supplied most of the bits to put the sedan togeather
now to what i want to know is there any tips or tricks or a correct process in fitting the subframe
thanks in advance

I fit the lower outer bolts loosely then put a jack under the front of it , jack it into position and get the lower inners in then line up the top bolts. if the subframe is off the same car you can line up the holes where the self tappers were to tell you its in the right spot.
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

got it on single handed wasn't to much of a drama only bolts that gave me any grief were the 2 threaded ones on either side that you put in from the inside
