Worked out all up costs would be near $2500 for a weekend
I'm retired can't afford that :(
It costs us more than that EVERY year .....

No use going for a weekend, would have to go for a minimum of a week to make it worthwhile so unfortunately I'll be a no show again, cost is too much for us as my other half is having her hours cut again next year, back to three days a week. And factor in any time off outside of school holidays if approved needs to be made up in her own time as they wont give unpaid leave. So Nats trips once the EK is done will be limited to short trips till the wife can find a new job....

That and I really need to get the EK back on the road. :?
Speed and Style........... One day I'll get the speed bit.

I could but that's money I can use for the car. Rebuilding the driveline and doing trim this time so need to save as much as I can.

Hervey bay was great as their were allot of qld cars id never seen before even at sawtell!

I think its sad people wont travel, but hey thats their choice, i hope people make a holiday out of next year and we encourage Tasmanians over to the mainland in years to come!

I know you didnt mention perth but due to this page the only way i can post is buy using the quote button
Yeah no stress mate.....love a drive and a Nats. Don't tell Blacky but we'll have 5 drivers in one car in the way over.....but 5 cars on the way back....
I hope that doesn't mean you are buying 4 cars from over here Tim

We have been going to the nationals since 2004 only missing (2005 due to shifting house), this is by no means anywhere near the most expensive nationals we have gone to.(most have cost a whole lot more)
bring them on :)
