Free to good home (you either pick it up, or pay the postage). Bosch alternator and home-made bracket to suit grey motor. It lines the pulley up well with the crank and water pump. Was used to run the engine on a stand, but make your own assessment as to its suitability for your use.
Turns over freely, but no idea if it works. Can’t see a nameplate on the alternator, but have not tried stripping the black rattle can paint off it either.
It came with the Repco headed motor, and is of no use to me. If no one wants it before the end of January it will go in the round filing cabinet (in that case I’ll keep the tensioner arm).
Cheers,
Harv

Re: Free: alternator and bracket
Harv,
It looks like a Bosch alternator of the type fitted to HKTGs as original equipment. Is the rear plastic cover semi-circular, with parallel ribs? You could clean it up and advertise it as a genuine Monaro part. And just think - if it had a large pulley you could name your own price.
If nobody else sticks their hand up by Christmas-time, I'll take it.
