I nearly crapped myself when he said he had driven it on a permit... I thought it had been driven all the way from out west. Does look good though.

Not a bad day out all up - got to stay to 4pm and only had to bribe the kids once with Mr Whippy.

Cheers,

drives really well there's some niggles in the front end like some of the angles the unis in the steering shaft are on are pretty tight and the front end has been in pieces and never had a wheel allignment, but overall it doesn't do anything strange and is quite nice to drive allthough a little cramped inside

My memory is terrible. I thought this one had a sunroof, and orange plexiglass windows.

I don’t remember you selling it :?

nah not bad memory, factory for some reason it had a big hole in the roof cover by a weird tar/vinyl wrapped sheet of tin like a lot of old cars it was rooted so temporarily i screwed a sheet of red perspex over the hole, BUT the some times bonus of selling cars the guy had the roof filled :D also had the old sign writing copied to the right side of the van :D and put glass in the front doors  red perspex is still in the rear door windows

Blacky yeah sold it when we moved to Coffs Harbour 4 years ago, was looking at buying a hot rod and Lisa said i'de really like to get the Austin back tracked the guy down on facebook half hour later a deal was done

got an engineer coming in 2 weeks to have a look and give us a list of things to do for a report 8)

if it turns out to be to much trouble will just buy a trailer and get a good red 6 built with either a blower or a turbo
