Classic Renault

Post by Wrongway Roger »

Hi guy,
I was at a small car show on the weekend and this Renault stood out. not just because it was a Renault but it had fantastic styling.
Fairly sure you need to see a thousand cars to see a bonnet ornament better than this.
Cheers Roger

The chrome grill on the rear fenders are the air intake for the engine.
This Renault is so 60's styling where details were king.

The Renault 750 is called the 4CV in France.
4CV? Quatre chevaux.
Four horses.
Thus the hood mascot.

Perfect.
I kind of thought there would be a reason for such an impressive hood ornament.
Now I wonder what a Gemini hood ornament would be or the Jackaroo or the Rodeo.

Well, a Gemini hood ornament would feature Castor and Pollux side-by-side.
But I'd love to see one of a rider being thrown from a buckin' bronc.
