Heater is out of a 60 series landcruiser.

They are fitted under the drivers seat in the landcruiser and the heater lines run under the floor, hence the bottom barb fittings.

UPDATE!!!!!

Post by MR HP »

Hey guys bit of an update

i have 2 weeks off school for between term break they start Monday

but i had today off and im having tomorrow off as well

so today i started panel work on the spare R/H/F guard i got with the car the one currently on the car has small damage but is rusty on the wheel arch

so with the help of dad (HPaddict) i got the spare down to bare metal today

my first time doing proper panel work and i loved it

it had some bog in it over small dents that are easily fixable that will be getting hammered flat again

it has a major rust hole at the bottom of the wheel arch at the back of the guard that dad is going to cut out and weld in a new plate it has small rust in the top of the wheel arch but is only minor so dad is going to weld it up

being my 1st time using the sanding disc on the buff i was working slowish and gentle it took me 1hour to do half the guard

5 o`clock came and there was still half a panel to do so dad took over and being an EX panel beater/spray painter by trade he got the rest done in 5 minutes making me look like an idiot

anyway its now in bare metal and ready for repairs

enough of me blabbing on here is some pics

the pic of the headlight surrounds as promised on the 26th august

heres the guard
what i did

Thanks Dad for helping me out today i would probably still be there if you didnt take over

so thats the progress report (for now)

cheers

everyone is slow when they first start, just a matter of getting used to it. you'll get plenty of practice
'The best engine in the world is a vagina. It can be started with only one finger. It is self-lubricating. It takes any size piston. And it changes it's own oil every four weeks. It is a pity that the management system is so f*$king temperamental.'

Looking forward to the pics mate!
I reckon every man and his dog have owned a HK/T/G, and theres a good reason for it, good cars!!
My first car was a HT Kingswood sedan, bought it of my old mans mate that'd had it since new always garaged, immaculate. 186 3 speed.
All I had to do was drop it on its guts :D :D
That was 18 years ago. Sold it 15 years ago for $1800
Geez I wish I still had it, best car I've ever had I reckon!
You'll be a pro in no time if you listen to your old man mate, he'll be able to teach ya all the little tricks that us porpers have to find out the hard way
Keep up the good work mate
Cheers Muza
