I was on a minesite years ago and they had an EK wagon they were going to use for a firefighting exercise    I went and asked the ESO if I could "grab a few bits off it " before they burnt it and he said go for your life ..................

When you're faced with an unpleasant task that you really don't want to do, sometimes you just have to dig deep down inside and somehow find the patience to wait for someone else to do it for you.

I'd be grabbing as much off it as possible before they cut it up, or find them something else to cut up. Any Commondore would do....

That's an odd choice for a car to cut up for rescue training if that is what it's destined for ?
We are lucky in that we have a scrappy that gets us heaps of cars, latest was a BMW and a VN (which no longer has a wiper motor  )
Rip everything off it
