When I lived in North Carolina I saw a lot of 80s Cadillacs and 60s - 70s Chevy Novas with these wheels. They were jacked up high like 4WDs and such cars were called "Southern Style". Very popular in the African American community.

i can understand width would be a factor, but how would diameter affect lowering potential (with 22's the wheel alone is probably bigger than standard wheel & tyre ) ? (as long as your tyre wheel combo maintains same rolling diameter)
cheers, luke.
PS: i was thinking of this same style of wheel in 18's, my mate had some so we threw them on and they look like a really chrappy micro machine (proportions right out the window)
here's a photoshop of ek with approx 18-19"
The only style of car they truely suit are early to mid 60's Impala's...... and even then only when they are 13's true lo rider style.
I've seen them on an XY and they just don't look right and they lift the car so much that they look jacked up.
But your car your choice, but I can't see them fitting without major wheel tub rework and front guard clearance will be a big issue. 14's rub on a really low EK.
Speed and Style........... One day I'll get the speed bit.
