Re: NoMAD's Kustom FB Sedan
IT'S ALIVE, IT's ALLIVVVVEEEEE!!!... fired up pretty much straight away... minor leak or 2 but they should be addressed now.
Cam broke in and engine oil / filter change already done... let the rest continue... it sounded good on open headers thats for sure haha

Hey Greg
I've picked up a 7" booster and master now I want to know is the hole on your fire wall large enough for the rubber boot on the back of the booster to go through and did you modify the original linkage rod from the pedal to the threaded shaft of the booster.
Hope that makes sense.
Regards
Neil

Not sure who you meant to ask but I did move the holes away from the bonnet hinge, bent the pedal around the steering column, modified the pushrod to suit the EK one and yes made the hole large enough for the rubber to fit through. I am sure MR nomad did the same.

Re: NoMAD's Kustom FB Sedan
Thanks Greg;
I was directing it to Nomad just read the name at the bottom of the popst must have been before early morning coffee
I thought you would have to make the hole large enough for the rubber boot and Nomads pedal box did look like it was that large but I just wanted to check.
I think I will also bend the pedal around have to wait and see.

Neil

Re: NoMAD's Kustom FB Sedan
so time for a little update, cleaned up the rear bumper i stole off Mr Black (one of those sort when the cars on the road job / money priorities haha), and got the boot all buttoned up... and back on the ground for a change ha clearly the rear bumper needed some customising
yes that is my tool / spares box in the back haha
Got the old grandpa bar on, the trim was cactus so cleaned it up as best as possibly and just gave it a coat of spray...
and few other bits on the car for trial fits
She's off to the exhaust shop in a few weeks and then into my actual garage to finally get it out of the weather. Better late than never
cheers

Re: NoMAD's Kustom FB Sedan
Well another major tick... the exhaust got done, stainless all the way back from the headers, and an O2 mount for me to mess around with... and i may be a bit biased but it sounds swweeeeeettttt! (shamless plug to the boys at Mettams Mufflers in Kelsmcott they did a bang up job and turned it around inside a day - i have no ties to them fyi)
i need to move a mount or 2, but that was my decision, i got them just to go to temp mounts until decided on the best way for it...
anyways enough talking...
And got myself a permanent shotgun esky... not sure the misses is happy being relagated to the back seat haha
Cheers
