yor forgetting how much easier it will be if/when you need to pull axles out and put them in and in general a better looking housing
sometimes yor just better off shitting in yor hands and clapping

No probs Stuart..glad the "brake shot" could help out.parisian62 wrote: Very timely pic for me Scotty. I am upgrading my front drums to EJ and thought I was missing some 'bits'. I see your pic is for the rear brakes but it has helped confirm what I am missing.
PS The Sputzwagon or Sputzsedan is looking mighty fine!
Stewart
I still want a photo of the car cruiseing alon the road like Tony's old photo...

Re: Sputzwagon 2 Scotty's EK standard sedan
More bit's done to the new diff.....
Firstly there is new bearings & seals now on the axles (no photo..sorry)...and the housing is ready for etch primer..after much cleaning & wire brushing.
But before I add paint I had to move the EJ's brake block tab to the drivers side (like an EK)..so out with the drill and drill out the welds holding it on the diff and then weld it to the opposite end (I jacked up the car to get measurements from the one in the car first ..(about 8 1/2"s form the backing plate)..and added an extra line tab to the top of the housing in the middle (just to look neater).
this is it where is should go for an EK..
a hidden extra..(because I can ).
