i recently got hunted down by fb cruisin, and after a bit of lurking, have decided to say hi.
got my FB in may (off ebay of all places) from sydney, and have had no issues at all with it.
needs a few bits and pieces, but it shouldnt take much to make her a fine ride indeed. getting some upholstery done this week, and i need to do a bit of colour sanding.
by the way, it doesnt have a 186 in it, its all original running gear. those plates were off an old car the bloke had.

PFFFT when will you ek owners ever learn..
Welcome Muddy..I love that paint scheme. looks a treat.
P.S you've got to watch them EK owners they are a bit of a weird bunch.just try to ignore them ...Cheers Mark
Welcome aboard James ,You look to be somewhat of a restorer and im far from one of those so we wont communicate much in here But if no one's listening - nice ride mate and nice color combo.
What are you missing ?
And how come Muddy ? is it the obvious hehe
restorer? you've got me all wrong haha! for starters, those are green LEDs in the dash in that photo up there. im also working on squeezing a stereo system in there, all completely hidden. ive also got an old style spotlight mounted where the side mirror would be, like the old american taxis and police cars. another small detail is that the sunvisor is held on with bolts dressed up with acorn nuts on the outside.
also in the works are some brackets to go on the parcel shelf to hold the venetians in (i never liked the screws), a sheet metal glovebox insert, a handmade electric warmaride conversion, and an extra gauge set that pops up from under the speaker grille in the dash.
the paint isnt quiiiiite as good as it looks in the photos, but it comes up nice after a good wash and polish.
so to sum up, im a bit of a 'devils in the details' sort of guy. and its muddy because my last name is mudd. ive heard aaaaall the jokes.
and rob, theres a real nice twin manifold on ebay at the moment, and ive got a stack of birthday money...
