Sweet ! 8) I am with Blacky regarding the trim to rear of roof and down the tail gate . You can stand tall with this one !
I would rather work on a Morris 1100 than use a computer !!!!!!

Very nice!....The 253 looks very much 'at home' in the EK engine bay.

Jay has done a damn nice job on that engine bay. He's tidied up, but left enough original wiring/clips/fittings etc that it looks like a genuine engine bay. If GMH had the 253 in 1960, I imagine, the outcome would have looked something like this.

Very nice looking indeed !

Wiring is easy, especially if you're a sparky like me

I do love the simple look without the clutter, good job Jay.

Thanks guys
Most of the wirring will be tucked up under the Chanel in the engine bay
So you will only see where it connects to the lights block etc
So still looks factory like well that's the aim anyway

So with a little bit of sorcery   I've managed to get the original style exhaust manifolds to fit in the engine bay left side is ht right side is early commodore they are slightly different in angle through the models so was a trail and error thing this combo worked the best with good clearence on all the right area's
Much happier with the factory look rather then extractors for now at least

Genius. I've always had drama with tubular headers and through the guards well don't go there. A fair bit of work no doubt to find the right fit but not more than fabricating a pair and a lot cheaper than buying a set that can often require rework. The factory look is just further advanced now. You must be pretty stoked with it.
I'm not that keen on squeezing V motors in pre hk road cars but this build really floats my boat. Always been a sucker for the phantom factory option look (oh yeah didn't you know GMH trialled the 253 in fb back in 1960 lol).
Cheers
