hey guys,

thanks for the reply's & sorry for the delayed reaction... lifes been hektic of late, to say the least...

NOW... the engine colour, (well at the moment anyway) will head down the path of black & stainless (thanks ratbox) or chrome, but would prefer that race feel that stainless gives off...

scubbs, yeah i think the car was a vic car around that time... i bought it off a guy in tumut, west of canberra... but he bought it off a guy in vic & drove it back to tumut then had planned on rebuilding it but got into some medical problems & couldnt finish it & had to sell it... NOW ITS ALL MINE...

hey jay, awesome mate... thats great, i have a Kmart just up the road so i'll check it out... but if i cant get any i'll let you know... thanks again...

andrew, pm sent...

hey guys, re the chrome strips... they are gone, so those particular ones are definatley not going back on, but the jury's still deciding on a verdict on wether to put them back on or not...

thanks again for the words pf encouragement...

i still have seen the car since my last post so nothing has changed but hoping to get into it over the next month...

thanks again

Should be able to pick up the coloured globes anywhere as all the modern cars seem to have coloured glodes now instead of coloured lenses.
Saw some spray paint for painting glass at Bunnings the other day - wonder if that would be ok to repaint plastic lenses
The only reason for time is so everything dosen't happen at once.
If Macca's home delivered there'd be one less drunk on the road.

Hey matty, as a fellow wagon owner I've been watching your cars progress with interest, any updates on her? Looking really nice in the last pics.

Matty, the Wagon's looking great. 8)
For engine colour, you can always go a darker shade of the body colour. That's what I did with my wagon (except mt engine was a lighter colour because the body was dark). As for the "Nomad" strips, ya gotta put 'em back on as we all know your car by them & it'll suit the yellow'n'white too. 8) 8) 8)

Looking awesome Matty, gotta love that colour, suits the shape. I agree with the 'nomad' strips. gives it a whole different look.

Can't wait for more pics

Cheers
