Yes you are right I had an issue with rotors as you say, this was before I did the VT twin piston caliper conversion, I was running VP calipers and standard rotors, when I bought the drop spindles I had that issue of not enough contact area, when I did some checking I found that the Calais had a slightly larger diameter rotor to standard so I changed to them and it sorted it out, when I rand CRS to find out what was going on they had no idea


I run 16" commodore rims as you know and found that I had to run HR steering arms but I also needed to rebend them slightly inwards to get enough clearance.
My rims/tyres are 195x50x16 front
205x50x16 rear
