Project 2.
Re: Project 2.
Thanks Blacky.
Question without notice: are EK front shock absorbers same as HR ones?

Re: Project 2.
They are not the same to look at but thay are the same length etc and are interchangable.

Re: Project 2.
FB through HG are interchangeable.
Tidy work indeed Brett and exciting progress. I wonder if I might try leaving the mounts on the chassis like you have, when I remove mine soon. Did you need to extend the leads on the fraud wiper motor at all?

Re: Project 2.
In my view much the easiest way is to leave the mounts on, but loose.
I cut Pete's connector off so I could get it through the firewall without need for the oxy. I will put lots of connectors on my new wiring, including seperate ones for the instrument panel, headlight switch, indicators and wipers.
Thanks for the shockers info Greg, Clay.

Looking good Brett really powering along, assembly is the most rewarding of the long process I reckon.
Mate did you say that you purchased a V6 conversions gearbox mount/support/yoke thingy but didn’t use it I might be interested if you still have and won’t to get rid of it.

Yes I do Neil, but the top part is pretty hacked about as I had to cut it out. If you're keen I'll pm a few piccies.
A bit of mock assembly today to work out a few things.

Re: Project 2.
Brett,
Top part of fuel pump needs to be rotated one screw hole counterclockwise. Normally inlet is at 7 o'clock and outlet is at 1 o'clock . . .
Just being picky.

Re: Project 2.
Spotless. Yes the jugs and manifold look top notch. Like Rob says fuel pump will work better with top turned one hole anticlockwise.

Re: Project 2.
No it won't. Will work just the same and currently inlet and outlet align to where I'm running my pipes. Not sure if you and Rob have noticed but I'm not running a standard fuel ine

Re: Project 2.
You'll need a shorter fan belt, it wont work with that one.
Good work Brett.
