It is staying as is Harv, though I did run a file around the cover gasket face for a better seal.

I got a proper tachometer from one of the Torana boys, bit the bullet, and drilled a couple of big holes in the dash. Works like it should. The cheap one I had was jerky, then just stopped working.Image

Should get there no problem - at least once
When you're faced with an unpleasant task that you really don't want to do, sometimes you just have to dig deep down inside and somehow find the patience to wait for someone else to do it for you.

It'll get there if he leaves the switch at the back set on "8" instead of "6"

On "8" you'll be struggling to reach 4000.

Nope, set the switch to "4" instead.

Hey… I’m sober. The idiot part you are probably right about though… I have the attention span of a goldfish and am easily distracted 🤪

Finally changing the head over. Here are the plugs. No 1 to the right.ImageImage
I may have damaged some of the valve stem seals when fitting softer springs. Hopefully that accounts for some oiliness on no 2 particularly.

Might be the lighting in the photos, but 3, 5 and 6 look lean.
