All height sensors mounted, pictures shown on full droop. And yes more wiring gone in. Even pinched the hand brake switch from the statesman donor car
Negative was spending 2 hours looking for the polished stainless steering shaft uni joints. I think I may had thrown them out .

What’s people done about getting wires into the pillar for central locking and electric windows for the rear doors? I need to get 8 wires into the pillar and out where the green white wire is exiting in the last photo.

My thought is to run it up the outside to the large hole and then hide with a removable cover.

Wiring has gone well with 80% of it done and ran to where it needs to be. Although there seems to be no end to wires. We have electric fuel pumps, e-level system, twin anir compressors, engine ECU, Dakota dash, air conditioning, electric windows and central locking plus all the normal wiring required for lights and the engine.

Now a waiting game as my mate has gone back to work in Mongolia.

Where are you mounting the seatbelt inertia reel simon? May influence the wiring path. Also the door retention strap thingy may foul.

I recall someone addressing this a few years ago on here. They had a tidy solution using a braided hose fixed at the pillar and disappearing into the door when closing. Someone may recall the thread.

This one is the cheap knock off of the Auto Loc ones. I have a set on order - Taz, I'll let you know how many wires will go through them. Reckon you may need 2 per door!

And re wiring - is there any reason not to run them up around the front window dog leg, then along the roof? Pain in the arse to fix/trouble shoot after the head lining has gone in, but is there any other reason not too? I was going to run interior lights/ and rear speakers etc that way. Did a quick test the other day and had no issue feeding 16 gauge speaker wire through without fouling. Noted there is a sharp edge or two that might need to be addressed

I could be wrong, but I thought Autoloc were part of the dreaded Hoffman chain of companies (low quality yet moderately priced gear).

Don't know Harv, you could be right, which might make the ones I've got from Amazon even lower quality..... or the same - probably came out of the same factory in China

The wiring to the rear of my Chev is run through the roof , had been there for 65 years and still working fine when I rewired it ….

Not sure if was here or the FE FC Forum but I saw one build where they had used contacts one on the pillar and one set on the door so when it closed they made contact and power to window and central locking.

You are on the money, checked that route out last night and I think it will work

I actually brought these from blue Eire but there are two many wires to run. Elec windows, central locking.

Found an hour or two today in between shuttling my son for MTB racing. I saw a post on another site where the person had placed their e-level controller in the ashtray.

So like all modders I copied the idea note the red tape
is applied to protect the controller.
