The distraction will be parked up for a few months, the Citric is quite cheap and safe to dispose of

Have seen vinegar used on rusty nuts and bots

Hi Gazza,
Is that a model A &*#@ LHD? Is it still running the 200 cubic inch 4 cylinder? Always admired the early model A roadsters / pick ups.

It’s a banga also has a heater exhaust manifold that’s pretty cool works by the fan blowing hot air through a hole in the firewall

Cool....... love the simplicity of the Model A and they can get along if your in a hurry. :thumbsup:

I got 20L of molasses to go in a wheelie bin 10:1 ratio but looking at your results, I’m going to give the citric bath a go. Where is your source..?

I pay about $45 for a 25 kg bag of Citric powder
I use 2 kg to 220 litres of water
