Re: D-MAN's FB sedan
Looks very tidy and definitely worth hanging onto. Bummer about the hub cap, they usually hang on really well in my experience. I guess you lost the "H" too. Although I did lose a wheel trim somewhere in the Flinders Ranges 20 yrs ago..........

Re: D-MAN's FB sedan
So the car is currently at Frank Tedesco autos getting an complete overhaul - fixing all issues others had supposedly fixed! Really surprised by the dodgey shit some people do. Refreshing to find someone like Frank and have him and his son work the car.... absolute perfectionists
Should be ready after Christmas .... then all I need is a steering box to get reconditioned, then get the final bit of rust fixed then it should be 100% complete.

Re: D-MAN's FB sedan
So after spending a fortune at a local shop Frank Tedesco has fixed up all the dodgey shit that they did
New clutch and slave cyclinder, new hand brake, gear box mounts, and new rear seal, new universal joints, replaced the tail shaft and front yolk, replaced the leaking tappit cover, changed fly wheel, rear box cover was missing so replaced that! Speedo cable, new fuel sender.
brakes fixed - dickhead who did them previously had machined them way too much and had wrong brake shoes on them!!! new brake master cyclinder, drums, brake shoes and wheel cylinders, fixed the gear box and gear linkages and fixed the door handles and door locks
Drives like a new car lol
Just needs some whitewalls and spats then done

Re: D-MAN's FB sedan
Stephen he did a small run - he may do more in the future
I placed my order mid (?) last year, the first batch had problems with casting then the 2nd were ruined getting finished. This was the third lot.
Hopefully worth the wait!
I think there are possible plans to make more products such as manifolds and headers.

Re: D-MAN's FB sedan
Nothing wrong with it Mick just can’t have too many rocker covers! I already have a front breather and had been looking for a twin breather for awhile
Re: D-MAN's FB sedan
If the rims are orriginal they should hold pretty well - the newer ROH wheels dont have a proper slot for the caps to lock onto so you need to make them with a grinder or dremel - had same issue on mine to start with so check the wheel has the correct groves pressed in.
You will find me lost somewhere!
Re: D-MAN's FB sedan
I still think the custom triple breather rocker cover was pretty cool . Whatever happened to it?

Hey D-Man I think you should give it a good shake down by coming across the paddock to the Nationals Mate.
