G'day All,
been off line for a few months, moving house and general life, went to the wreckers on the weekend, picked up a couple of mementos, a box of grill bar pieces, tail light lenses, and a old tin can for my brakes.

When you're faced with an unpleasant task that you really don't want to do, sometimes you just have to dig deep down inside and somehow find the patience to wait for someone else to do it for you.

Got the bumper on, it was a bit of a pain in the drain,
Number plate is sitting there for the photo, There are some silly rules over here in NZ, the number plate is the original plate from when the car was purchased new, it was the number on the sales docket, the one within the service manual, ect ect, the car has had a personal plate attached since 2002, so for me to attach the original plate I need to purchase a new personalised plate, and then I can use the original. go figure.
regards
Thomo.

Hey Thommo ,I managed to get permission to use the the original plates that were dead, by having the original plates in good condition, the original ownership papers along with photos of engine number and body number ( which matched up with the ownership papers). When it came to getting the car re vinned, I just had to show the clowns at VTNZ the comfirmation letter that I had received from Palmerston North. Your local Vintage car club branch will be able to fill you in on the details. Regards Daz.
