Wow! Definitely going to make a statement Neil.
Always helps having a few bodies to muscle the subframes on!

Wow Neil, that made my eyes pop open! Looks great. Give me a yell if you want another old bastard to give you a hand. If I’m home, I’m only half an hour away.
Cheers,
John

That's awesome Neil,

When the bits all go back on and the car rolls it seems like its almost over, the hard yakka is done !

Mate your progress is good, and don't worry about the roof, I've seen worse than that come out like brand new !

Sunnies will be required though !!!!

Regards Greg

Fantastic Neil, you and Keith are doing a great job.
I’ll make sure I’m wearing my sunnies when I see Frankenstein.
My entry form is in. See you in June.

Wow guys really appreciate all the comments and John if you are available this sunday I will take you up on your offer I will have a 6 pack in the fridge for after we get it on :erm: the subchassis on I mean

I found It a hard choice to come up with a colour, there are so many nice colours out there, I didn't really want it to stand out just wanted something different and I really appreciate guys that stay with original colours as the pastels of the day suit the cars.

Even though we give Chopped a hard time sometimes about his "Gaypricot" he must have been taking a bit of a chance but the colour suits the car.

Hats off to you all.

Anyway subchassis on to front this weekend.

I reckon you could paint Chopped's ute mission brown, and it would still look good. It takes a lot of courage, and even more skill, to lower the lid. The workmanship on the vehicle is impressive. The colour does suit the car though.

Hey Neil, I’m back to work this weekend, bugger it. I’ll give you a call later today to try and work something out.
If I do get there, I imagine I’ll be looking at the sub frame a fair bit - should I bring my welding helmet, or will normal sunnies do?

... but maybe not some of the other 80's gear: "heartbeat" ECG lines painted alone the side of a car, graphics, painting just the removal stuff bright pink, houndstooth trim in non-Monaros, GT Falcon side mirrors on non-Falcons, mix tapes, chromed spanner set mounted in boot, external black Aunger sunshade, wooden beaded seat covers...

...ooops, I think I may have been guilty of some of those
