Hoping to get exhaust fitted up next week ( who would have thought that a leaky exhaust / intake manifold gasket would make the car run THAT bad "angryy: I thought i had killed the motor)..... then just a tune up and final trim on.. Deadline is tight. Possibly a quick drive around adelaide next week to iron out bugs. I was lucky to find some brake drums that had been in storage in melbourne for 35 years. 3 NOS and one measured only slightly used. Skimmed up perfect. Im still hopeful

thanks, not intended to demoralise anyone. Just wanted to share. Im loving the results myself. Southern classics and customs in adelaide do a fantastic job. Hope if i make the nats its not a let down to anyone now :? Its the result i have pictured in my head for the last 10 years.
