Those right-angle SU air cleaner adaptors are making my eyes hurt. They need to be jammed up against the firewall of a BMC vehicle, not on a cool wagon. Do you have space for some (short) inlet trumpets? If you want a set, let me know as I think I have some in the spare parts department (not show quality, but useable, and invisible under filter socks).

Never gave them a thought Harv.
With trumpets what filters the air and stops shit getting sucked in?

Trev, I used stainless flyscreen and cut up socks to fit squeezed between the trumpet and mounting plate. Looks neat and I end up with a nice red centre in my trumpet but mine are on an angle so don't see them unless you look for them. They go black pretty quick but easy to pull out and clean in diesal and re-oil.
Cheers Theo Z..............

Trev,
My thoughts were, Why have the trumpets if you cover them up with a sock?
Dusty roads and mud aren't your friend but we don't spend alot of time driving like that anymore.

These are the ram tubes/trumpets I was thinking of:
The chrome on them is not bad, but not perfect either. They are an alloy base, with the tubes either light gauge steel or perhaps hi-temp plastic. If you want them for the wagon, drop me a PM and I'll throw them into the post.

Harv
