All doors now reskinned, hi filled, basecoat, dustcoat, blocked back, hi filled again and left in 2K etch ready for paint.

Subrame braced and repairs underway, still so far to go :roll: :roll:

Still busy collecting parts, re-chroming, cleaning, sourcing old for new, buying, trading, swapping. Although sometimes frustrating, it's been a lot of fun.

yeah, its all th elittle bits that take up a lot of time, if everything is ready to reassemble once the shell comes back you will smash it together in no time .... :D

Ahhh memories.. hint make sure the door light switches earth to the body somewhere or the little buggers won't work..

While the body is still up in Toodyay, I've been starting to put a few things back together, which has been a pretty big learning curve but lots fun

Stripped and cleaned the Rear View mirror, had a new mirror hand cut from Kalamunda Glass

Stripped and cleaned 3 x ¼ Vent Window frames, soaked these in WD-40 for 3 days so I wouldn't snap the pivot pin :-)

The original radio given the full treatment care of Vintage Wireless, bought the new fascia from the boys of here, polished and painted the SS trim, a new Diamond Dot and cleaned and painted the tuning knobs
