Sweet as bro. Looks like she just rolled out of the dealership. Those caps and trims are perfect.

Back to fine tuning these SU's finally. I've managed to come up with a way to test and set up my Su's without a dyno. Using a GoPro remotely viewed through a phone and reading fuel mixtures using a AFR gauge. With pistons marked up for lift height I can now plot mixtures at various lift points. Next step to work out damper springs and to rework needles.

When you're faced with an unpleasant task that you really don't want to do, sometimes you just have to dig deep down inside and somehow find the patience to wait for someone else to do it for you.

Great to watch Craig.
When you rebuild mine I don't expect you to go to this much trouble.

Twin 1 3/4 (44mm) HIF SU's.

They are a little on the large side for the old grey.

Thanks Mick. I was wondering how you went with your Su's.
Funny how sometimes close enough is good enough when you're busting to go for the first run. Once going it's hard to stop and get back to working on it and finishing it, especially when you have more than 1 project.

Looking forward to seeing your bus in Tassie????
