Hey all,

Darryl, thanks for the tip on the box, will have a chat with the guys as soon as I get a chance.

Well, car is cleaned and ready for Yamba in the morning, leaving Kingaroy at 8 o'clock. New windscreen is in and everything is all good except for the gearbox of course but shit happens. (over that)

As I said to the missus, I don't care if it take us all day to get there as long as we get there, and I don't care if the car comes home on a tilt tray, as for the last 8 months or so our life has been all about getting to this weekend, making it to the show and meeting all the people that have helped me with information and advice during this build.

Can't wait, so excited I could just pee.

Hey all,

Well the car made it to Yamba for the nationals and home again with no real problems.
All the family had a great time and enjoyed meeting forum members and seeing all the great cars.
We were also very happy with our cars win  :D

On the way home we met up with Chris GENTLE a photographer for S/M Magazine at
Brunswick Heads a for a photo shoot of the car. That took about 2 hours, dodging the rain.
After that we headed for home and it rained all the way home. Least the windscreen didn't leak.

Added a last photo of the car that was done by Chris the photographer. His lighting and skills made me go holyshit

Its amazing what difference a professional photographer can make. Thats an awesome shot!

I know from the calendar shots of my cars how much better they seem to look.

You've gotta be happy Mal.

Great photo Mal, a neighbour of mine had pic's of his HK monaro by a bloke working for Street Machine, he said the equipment was worth $15000. He took heaps of pic's in one spot with different settings, took bits out of each one to make one, the tricks of the trade, Trev 8)
