nah, nothing ever happened with it. We tried to track him down through eBay but he was using some one else's account who is apparently from Liechtenstein or something, which was handy.
We've tried calling him but we only get message bank and we spoke to a solicitor but he didn't seem to think it was worth it.

We do have his address though so if we're ever passing through Wooloongong we might pay him a visit...

been busy this week! finally decided on the paint colour, spotted it at wintersun and turned out to be Jonquil Yellow like i originally had in mind so that was it!
spent many tedious hours with the wet and dry and i haven't got any fingernails left but the engine bay is all painted now so i'm pretty happy :D

back with another progress report :P

Image
got my chrome back :D cost me a pretty penny but super happy with how it came up.

Image

Image
engine's painted, back in, dressed up and running so that's a start. and picked up the radiator this arvo so that'll be back in tonight as well.

Image
rear quarter + bonnet finally finished and in hi-fill.

Image
and dash is painted and putting it all back together again :)

tailshaft is ready to go back in and we've bled the brakes and clutch so it's nearly driveable! (kind of)

Great to see you finally picked a color. Good choice. 8) 8)
Where did you get your chrome done ??
You will have to bring it to class on Wednesday night when its done to show it off.
At this rate it wont be very long.

Dave.
I'd rather drive something made of metal, not plastic!
