I think its time the Jackson family got their own gallery section on the forum, they have without a doubt the best collection of ek and fb holdens in Australia!

Daphne went to young Frazer's (Fud) to see his Cameo Beige EK Ute. http://www.fbekholden.com/forum/viewtop ... 22#p132822

Here was some of the forest Daphne strolled through in Armidale on the driveway to Frazer's. Just beautiful.

Hi DB, it was the EK's first outing of the year, albeit 10ks. 1k of pebble road which we crawled at 5mph :)

Now she's tucked back into bed. :)

Got a little water in my cars at sawtell. Had to dry out under some of the mats VERY CAREFULLY. Here are the dates under the Boot and rear floor mat.

PLEASE DONT GO LIFTING YOUR FLOOR MATS UNLESS YOU ARE EXPERIENCED, AS FOR THOSE WHO ARE NEW TO OLD RUBBER MATS, THEY RIP TOO EASY!

I believe the dates are only on Sydney cars?

An amazing time capsule. Even kept the rego renewals that is incredible. Could anyone imagine doing that these days if you bought a new commodore?

i have heard of people who bought various Holden new and would catch the train to work rather than get their beloved car wet
(And start the rust cycle) An old mate said he knew of a bloke who did that with his HD

Hey Paul, I am attracted to that kind of dedication on these old cars. certainly up with some of our better EK's for originality and condition.

Donna may sell it though

Hi Steve and Donna, This was one of my favorite cars at the nationals as I had one identical in everyway except in condition. Nice to see, brings back memories, Regards Daryl.
