Re: Uraidla
Heres some pics from todays Uraidla show
Very nice 32, I really liked its style, except the front indicators, they look like they should be on a trailer.
My old Impala I had 25 years ago.
I really hope these Volks Rods do not become popular
Survivor Early Custom recently reregistered
The Bobcat FJ Custom makes a rare apperance.
Here is a couple of pics, driving back into Adelaide from the Adelaide Hills
Real skinny winding road all the way down

Re: Uraidla
Thanks to Dave & Thommo for the pics, here's some I took, I'll leave out the doubles that the guys have already posted.
I saw Thommo leaving as we arrived, man does that thing sound sweeeet!
Colin Townsend's fat FJ, displayed next to the Bobcat.. Almost needed a stock FJ in between to show the extent of the mods to each one, in different directions!
Mean looking Chev, I like it
I like the mild custom treatment on this one, just right
Candy paint looked wild in the full sun, pic doesn't do it justice
I like a lot
Something a bit different...
Great colour on this one - dunno how easy it is to tell from the pic, is it a factory hue?
EK Gasser or just in-the-build?
This was one of my favourite rods at the show
This and another dark blue one that was at the Zippel Cruise the night before have inspired my love of '46 Coupes
Flattop Caddy a nice change from all the coupes
The back corner usually occupied by the Road Knights & Monarchs etc was decidedly empty, have they abandoned the event? Missed seeing that light blue '41 Tudor that I like so much
(pic is from 2008)
That's it from me, check out my Zippel Cruise story too...

Re: Uraidla
gday paroharo
another great day it was with loads of cool rides
the rod clubs that were a no show at the event ,as last year there were a handfull of cars that
got a few letters mailed out by the motor reg office for illegal mods ,not running guards or what ever reasons
but it sure will put people off from turning up at a great show
Colin Townsend hasnt owned the fat fj for a long time now but its always great to see it out
cheers dave

When you're faced with an unpleasant task that you really don't want to do, sometimes you just have to dig deep down inside and somehow find the patience to wait for someone else to do it for you.

Re: Uraidla
Some great looking cars on there. I'm not a big fan of some of the custom Humpy's going around, but the ex Townswend FJ sits very nice
Thanks for the photo's.
