The Repco heads are reknowned for being either porous or cracking. This one leaked water, and was "Loctite'd" back in the 80's. I assume this is done using this product: https://www.eis.co.za/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=3151 Not sure if Loctite even make it anymore, but ...

To set the redline, count the number of welsh plug holes down the side of the block. Drive the vehicle carefully, at constant engine speed. Stop, let the engine cool, and recount the welsh plugs. Repeat the process, increasing engine speed in 500rpm increments until an extra, oversized, ragged shape...
