Got some fiddly stuff done. Got the drain and filler plugs sorted for the diff. The old Toyota ones went missing, so some stainless allen-headed M18x1.5 plugs will do the trick. Just the back pots... manifold leaks? A little reversion or leaky exhaust valve perhaps pulling in air?

To set the redline, count the number of welsh plug holes down the side of the block. Drive the vehicle carefully, at constant engine speed. Stop, let the engine cool, and recount the welsh plugs. Repeat the process, increasing engine speed in 500rpm increments until an extra, oversized, ragged shape...
