Re: battery tray

Stainless trays $200 ea for one off or if I can get group order in of about 10 he'll do it for $150 each. No cost difference for mild steel as it's all in the labour. Would be heaps cheaper if you want it done without the welded corners ie just cut and fold. I've seen others use a battery box instead.

Hey Doc Bob, wanted to get a chance to see the Fiddy Customs stand etc but my 4yo in tow just had enough cars. Damn. Being on the tools and in the trade, can't see why Doc Bob clinic and Fiddy Customs couldn't make a show piece of your wagon of a level of finish deserving a inside spot !!!

Re: Complete fb/ek loom

Unless its 100% stocker he's gonna need to chop it up anyway so why not just make a new one from the wiring diagram on the forum, while you're at it, you can relocate it from the engine bay for a cleaner look. All you'll need is the bulb holders and the normal terminal ends. It's a very simple wirin...

Re: single din cd/tuner into dash

I decided to cut the hole in the dash for the din size radio on the weekend...got out the dremel, the 4" grinder with fresh cutting disc, got all set up, marked it out and I couldn't bring myself to do it. Don't know why as I'm not a restorer, its got a red 6, floor shift trimatic, HR. front &a...

I had a work mate that had a TE with the 250 cross flow motor, it went like a bat out of hell but you would also get sea sick in it too  . I've always been a fan of the mk1 and mk2 cortina's  . Hahaha. My folks had a TE when I was a kid and I would always get car sick. I have not be...

Re: single din cd/tuner into dash

Thanks for doing that and posting up the pics Blacky.
Its not what I was hoping to hear/see. But I also noticed your new Chev radio is different to the RetroSound gear.
