Re: Clay’s Wedgewood Blue FB Ute

start looking for cruise now and good luck finding it, apparently they don't make the kits any more or more so the people that make one of the parts no longer make them, they are working on making their own but it will be about 3 times the cost, the kits have become very hard to get and expensive

Re: Ammo's Ute

looks good on but i can see an optical problem with it because there is a line in the guard and the strip slopes up it's always going to cause the optical illusion of not being put on straight will always look like it's sloping up or down depending on which line you choose to follow

Re: MildFB, customised FB wagon

I just noticed the cracked windscreen after I jacked the car up on the drivers side front, normally I go up in the K frame centre. I mentioned to a friend who does high end windscreens and he told me that Ferrari will crack a windscreen the same way. We have a very stiff car with ladder chassis, so...

Re: MildFB, customised FB wagon

strange the windscreen cracking, in my experience i would think there is flex to cause that (i've had numerous converted convertibles and a chopped sedan) i could jack one corner and get 3 wheels off the ground

Re: Clay’s Wedgewood Blue FB Ute

Clay, (Warning. This post may cause revulsion.) Rather than going to all the trouble of pulling the camshaft out . . . couldn't you weld an old pushrod to the lifter body and extract the lifter with the pushrod? Desperate times, desperate measures . . . Or a slightly more civilized approach: remove...

Re: Clay’s Wedgewood Blue FB Ute

I'm a bit puzzled with the heater pipes. They usually have one hose coming off the water pump inlet to create the flow. Is there a decent flow in and out of the thermostat housing? that's how i always do it, it also has some cooling benefits if other end is mounted in the rear of head as it pulls i...
