Hi Tim See here for some 'action' shots of windscreen installation. http://www.fbekholden.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=576&hilit=old+timer&start=690 Black sealant was used. I also had problems with the first rubber I bought and had to buy another from a different source. regards Stewart

I had this same problem as Blacky. I had to file the inside of the sender to get it to fit properly.Is the sender pushed far enough down the shaft inside the distributor ? Mine was a bugger to get the last few mm down

As Dave said you will need to trim the length down. In the top (right angled) corners of doors if you want to be really fancy you to mitre the corners for a neater fit.

I had similar issues with the glass and felt - I sparingly used silicone spray lubricant to help.
