Re: Subframe and body alignment
Hi Greg, Ye this thing isn’t very square or what I consider square. I’m squaring it up using the front end mounting points to the rear spring hanger. Subframe and body alignment
Guys I found a pic on here with some of the dimensions for the chassis alignment. But it only shows a few of the measurements. It doesn’t show and triangulated measurements to make sure everything is square.
Does anyone have the measurements the two red arrow are point to.
Thanks Trevor

Re: LS1EK
Geez that would be handy if there was some official document that listed that weight. Then it’s an automatic tick of approval.

Re: Measurements required
Harv, where the rear chassis rails meet the rear beaver panel. If you can get me the distance from the top or the bottom of the chassis rail to the floor, that would be fantastic

Re: LS1EK
Harv, not sure if the tonnage x 2 = Kw is a legislated. It was the reply from the engineer after he canned the LS1 due to size. That x 2 = max kw only applied if the engine exceed the VSB weight x 5 factor. So your 327 has to be safe as it’s under that. It’s a bloody pain, 5647 ccs allowed and an LS...
