Re: Fuel gauge

Revisiting John's very thorough and I formative post here. I know my gauge is good as it reads empty when I earth sender terminal to body and full when sender terminal isolated. My problem appears to be in the sender. At full resistance is 33ohms. At empty though it reads 7ohms. I've tried bending ...

Re: W.A. February Club run

Thanks Blacky. Sadly can't make the Pasta night (some decent cuisine) and Northam as I'm working. Fingers crossed for the two car shows.

Cheers,

Re: Clay’s Wedgewood Blue FB Ute

Nice day out Clay.
Raff’s a lucky fella learning to drive in one of these. Not many kids have heard of “three on the tree” let alone driven one. He’ll be able to drive anything after this.

Re: Clay’s Wedgewood Blue FB Ute

Cool beach shots Clay. 3 of my kids are over your way at the moment slowly making their way back to WA, and my son loves his surfing too.

Keep an eye on those stainless bolts in cast iron mate. They can gall or corrode and be a pain to get out.

Re: Neils Frankenstein Ute

Good fault finding Neil and handy info about the foam inserts. Reminds me of a story ........ Early nineties, and my wife and I were driving back to WA after being in Victor Harbor, SA in my Toyota FJ40 shorty. We had just driven through Pt Wakefield when a blinding rainstorm hit and the windscreen ...

I like this rear end shot Clay. I bet that’s what you’ve been imagining throughout the resto. Great stuff.

Re: Clay’s Wedgewood Blue FB Ute

Ok, next question, are you using the correct size indicator bulbs for the flasher cans you’re using (normally 21 Watts each)? If not, this may be your problem. The lamps need to be the correct size for the can to work. You asked “What’s the go with these flasher cans ?” Well here goes.... here’s a s...
