Hi Brett instead of stealing Sneezy's thread I thought I would bring this over here. That heater tap has an ECU will it only run with the Vintage Air unit or could I just ditch the ECU and run an open or closed switch on the water tap. Hi Sneezy, there is supposed to be a flap on the plastic bit that covers the core I assume this was so you could keep it shut and the hot air would go to the demister or open and the hot air came into the cab, yours is missing the flap, I have one and it looks like the heater lever would have had a ...

Yesterday I got into the rear piece I had started, found that there is actually three pieces one on top of each other and they had spot welded all three at once, so once I removed the top one I had to redrill the same spot welds, I’ve made up the two pieces but they have to wait till next time. Passenger side rear quarter finished used the wet rag and tack tack still got a little shrinkage near the back end but maybe that was cause the gap between the two pieces may not have been wide enough, anyway doing the best I can.
