Harv's Jack Myers thread
Here's the bits that I have put together. The link for the flanges is below. On eBay they offer free shipping so I just rang them (they have the link to their physical store listed) and got two plates plus bolts and nuts for $56. The gaskets were just at my local super cheap for about 7 bucks each. ...

Re: Twin carb questions...air filters
It does seem that my filter housings are an odd size. I don't want to go down the track of an oiled filter. So I will keep searching!

A very lame effort with my benzomatic plumbers torch. It ran out of gas anyway. So realistically stuff all heat!

Thanks Harv. As its a hydra I have plenty of atf on tap and will start soaking.
I might see if I can get a double square socket and have one last try. If that doesn't work I will take it to a workshop with the right know how and a welder [emoji5]

Stuck cylinder head water tap bolt
Heya guys Fitted up the a warmaride heater today. All went smoothly. But I cannot get the rear plug out of the cylinder head so that I can fit the brass fitting for the hose. I soaked in wd40 and hammered over an impact socket - even my massively powerful Milwaukee rattle gun can't shift it and the ...

Twin carb questions...air filters
So guru's while we the topic of twin carbs is quite hot ATM, I have a couple of questions. For my air filters can I run foam filters. I can get the flat sheets used for motorcycles and cut to size. If so, should they be oiled? Or are paper filter elements a safer/better option? The filter housings I...

WTB: Grey motor generator
Heya gurus The gennie in the EJ is throwing sparks out the back of the inspection plates. It also sounds a tad rough. So...I don't hold much hope of it surviving much longer. Does anyone have a good one for sale? Or one that I could rebuild and swap over. I don't think it looks to hard and it's some...

Re: Nasco steering lock for FB/EK
Someone on here will have the instructions you need. Don't drill until you have them as it explains how to line everything up and how to use the guide hole to mark the drill point. Well at least it does for EJ/EH!

Re: Ammeter - wiring instructions
Hmmm all this talk about fires is somewhat concerning. But I assume it's safe IF wired correctly so that there is no starter motor current AND a fuse?
Thanks all for the advice so far

Heya knowledgeable Holden guys, i want to wire in an Wilson ammeter into the EJ. Would some one have fitting instructions for wilsonia gauges by chance? I know they are more common for the FE/FC crew, but thought i would try here. What i have seen so far is + at starter motor and B+ at regulator - u...
