I got a quote for near 7k in Newcastle somewhere about three years ago so it gave me ammo to convince the misses to get a 304 and stuff it in!

Hi Shain, are you transplanting the whole wiring harness or using an adapter harness? I did the VT system and have all the info if needed. I'm rarely on this forum but a regular on the FC forum. I used all the wiring from VT and now have power windows Cruise control Boot release Central locking etc ...

I just had mine done by seatbelt solutions for an FC (not inertia) and measured a little longer than that but don't stress as they are adjustable.Image

Hi wot. This is exactly what I did. I also flattened the EK shifter so I could use the FC wheel. I have a rear mount rack and it's a bitch if a turn. Three uni and an eye joint...
Had Alien Auto make mine.

Sounds like Rob is applying the same rules to all mods. Engineers have been well scrutinised in the last two years and so may be butt covering. I have had to talk common sense into my engineer. Eg Brakes- my FC has a VT 5L in it with VT booster master calipers all rebuild and installed with new brak...

With all the welding for crush tubes etc I ended up making mine in 50mm RHS 3mm thick with materials less than 200 incl the plate for the Y members up to X member holes.
