Very practical thinking there Harv, I like it. Interested to see what you find as you look deeper into the motor.

Re: Another EK Ute on SA Roads
With the 14” jelly bean mags, I got jack of having to pump two wheels up as they would lose air after a week. I assumed the rims were porous as others have suggested but thought I’d get a soap mix on all the wheels and see what was going on. Found the problem…….. No wonder they were going flat ...

Hmmmm….. Demonstrates they (and others no doubt) just manufacture & sell stuff and work on the basis only 5% of customers may complain / provide feedback on poor quality.
Whilst I have never had to buy speed nuts I assumed they were readily available??

Re: Door handle & speedo
Hi Joe
I think I have a spare second hand door handle I just need to find it! I will look tomorrow and advise. With your speedo it might just need lubricating with a couple drops of fine oil, as mine did. It was so tight to turn it broke the cable inner.

Looks like good value. Car sits nice and those wheels finish it nicely.
What 4 speed box bolts up to a grey? Do you need an adapter plate and ek auto (and later) floor hump? Just curious
