I reckon if you were going for a mock-up you wouldn't fit velour bucket seats in the front. I'm thinking it's legit.

A paint brush?! Did you use a massive brush like Rolf Harris? I look forward to seeing your work on Saturday. After all the practice on your house, I'm expecting a flawless finish.

I dunno... I reckon it needs a little extra panache. Perhaps a stuffed cobra somewhere attached to the bonnet. That'll give it some class!

Thanks Harv. I should have known this topic has already been discussed. My EK sedan has an old tow bar on it already, and it resembles the one in the brochure, but it appears to be a home made one. It is also designed so the tongue, which is fixed, sits about 10mm below the rear bumper. The ball act...

Tow Bar

Any one out there have any design ideas re the fabrication of a tow bar for an FB sedan. I see the ends can attach to where the rear bumper bolts up. I'm looking for some pics if convenient. Thanks. You guys are the best.

Geez Trev. I didn't name names for a reason. Don't you know what they do to people who fabricate bogus trailers from car shells in prison?

You could fabricate a tow hitch to attach to the body where the subframe attaches to it. Then you can tow it there and get the shell and subframe done separately. I know someone on this forum who did that, so I'll hasten to add it isn't my own idea. For legal reasons I won't name names.

I used 000 gauge flexible cable. It is rated for 328 amps and had a resistance of 0.2 Ohms per kilometre. I ran it from the boot, through a hole in panel behind the passenger rear quarter, on the inside of that "V" bit (through a nice fat grommet), tucked under the wheel arch, then along t...

Looking at those plugs, I can't see anything that could be relating to air leaks or starvation for fuel, both oh which will cause a lean-out situation. Those plugs tell me either you're too rich, or the plugs are too cold. Either way, the performance will deteriorate as the plugs foul up. Sick plugs...

Really love the fact that not only does it have an insert with a cobra in the boot lid, but it also lights up. Like the cobra thing isn't enough. This fella is what I call an individual!
